A defined engagement starts with a short description of the matter. Consultation scope and price are agreed before the consultation; further legal work is discussed separately.
From first contact to agreed legal work
- Send a brief first enquiry and identify the Russian issue.
- We check whether the engagement can be accepted, including conflicts and communication arrangements.
- Agree the scope and price of a consultation or initial assessment before it takes place.
- Agree further work, fees, expenses, authority and engagement documents.
- Carry out the work, discuss key decisions, report progress and deliver agreed results.
How We Work
Fees depend on the task and scope. The consultation, further work and expenses are agreed in advance. No payment or automatic charge is taken through this website.
Consultations are available in Russian and English. Translation for Thai or Chinese is agreed in advance.
The engagement covers Russian law. Foreign-law questions, translation, certification and the participation of local advisers are agreed as needed. The language of this page does not imply a foreign professional qualification.
Questions before you start
Can I contact you from abroad?
Yes. Start with the Russian connection and your immediate objective. The scope is agreed after the initial assessment.
Which languages are available?
Consultations are available in Russian and English. Translation for Thai, Chinese or other languages is agreed in advance.
Will I need to travel to Russia?
It depends on the task, procedural stage and representative authority. Personal participation may be required for some actions.
How are fees determined?
The consultation or assessment fee is agreed before it takes place. Further work, expenses and terms are agreed separately.
Can you work with my foreign adviser?
Yes. Responsibilities, document exchange and communication are agreed for the Russian and foreign parts.
What should I send first?
A short description, your role and any deadline. Documents are requested through an agreed channel after the initial checks.
Does submitting an enquiry create an engagement?
No. Acceptance, scope and terms must be agreed separately.
